Steelers WR Diontae Johnson out early in game against 49ers with hamstring injury

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson left their season-opening 30-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers early in the second half Sunday afternoon with a hamstring injury.

On the Steelers' opening drive of the second half at Acrisure Stadium, Johnson caught a short pass from quarterback Kenny Pickett and broke down the right side of the field for a 26-yard gain. After being knocked down, however, Johnson landed awkwardly and immediately reached for the back of his right leg after the play was over.
